Silver Dollar City

One of the theme parks in Branson is Silver Dollar City (or as the brother-in-law says ‘Steal Your Dollar City’). The kids and the wife loved it. I never enjoy those kinds of crowded noisy places. Having a migraine in the midst of it made it that much worse. I left after lunch and slept the afternoon and the headaches away with the aide of some friendly prescription chemicals. I did get to visit a couple of crafts shops that were cool before I had to check out. The wood carving shop was doing some neat projects. The dremel carvings of the bluebirds was especially nice. The knife shop hand a number of hand made Damascus-style folding and fixed blade knives that I wish I could afford.
